Hyundai service commitments…

This was a couple of months ago when I went to get my car serviced from one of the leading (so called leading) service centers of Hyundai in Delhi. I had been getting my car serviced from this service center for so many years as I have Hyundai cars. After the service, I collected the keys and drove the car out of the service center. I noticed that there were some spots on the bonnet of the car and I stopped to clean it. To my horror i realized that these would not go. I took it back to the service center and showed them the spots. They tried to scriub it off but the spots would just not go. When I mentioned to them that these were spots which were on the car when i took the car the guys just turned hostile and challenged me that these were not from the service center. I had no way and took it to the other service centers and got them tested. I was told that this is due to Battery water which may have got spilt on the bonnet. When I went back to the service station to let them know the same, they just would not accept and told me to go ahead and file a complaint with the company and be assured that nothing would happen. This kept me wondering if this is the kind of response that we expect from a company as reputed as Hyundai which is one of the market leaders of cars in India. Unfortiunately, the only respite that I had out of this whole issue is that I donot buy anymore Hyundai vehicles. Apart from that, I wonder if customers like me have anything that we can do even in the economy which we claim to be customer centric.
